ALYSSA CALVERT
COACH
Alyssa holds a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification and is actively working towards becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and obtaining her Strength & Conditioning Coach Certification (SCCC). Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in kinesiology, and she is currently pursuing a master's degree in nutrition and sports performance.
Alyssa shares her passion for fitness and health with young athletes at Pembroke Hill, where she is the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and part-time PE teacher.
Growing up in Kansas City, Alyssa has always had a passion for sports and athletics. In high school, she transitioned away from soccer and began her CrossFit journey. Her dedication led her to MidAmerica Nazarene University, where she earned an Olympic weightlifting scholarship and competed at a national level for three consecutive years.
Beyond her professional life, Alyssa is an avid dog lover and enjoys spending time with her furry friends!
